Can factory stereo in my C-Class Merc be restored radio and Aux works. But not CD or Sat-Nav works. Do I go to great expense to change. Cheers

If its got NAV, it cant be that old, surely? What about ebay for a replacement?

I'd get the model number off of it and try ebay.

It depends what you mean by "restoring" i guess?

Are you trying to get something roadworthy again and use it as a daily, or are you trying to do a nut and bolt restore on something that might one day (or maybe is) a classic?

If its the former, then maybe grin and bear it is the answer in the meantime, if its the later, then its how much money you want to throw at the project really.

Hey cheers D, yes sounds like it will cost an arm and a leg, then sum to upgrade so looks like plan B! Replace with 'Alpine Set'. Thanks again for your help, spot on. Mickey
