Another case of (deliberate?) friendly fire??? It was a BP plant after all......not an Exxon or whatever... one that Dubya does not control?!? Oh they have had safety problems before.... but 30% of BPs production in the US.... smells rather suspicious.....

Indications are that it WAS an accident.

The plant was recently heavily fined for a poor safety record.. In fact two people recently died there in an incident involving boiling water.

A tragedy by all accounts, but unlikely to be terrorism.

If they dont know what it was, how can they rule out it being deliverately caused?

Interesting logic, but you could have, say, 10 causes of which for various reasons you can rule out 3. So you know what it wasn't, but you still don't know what it was, IYKWIM.

So even if it obvious to the most brain dead cretin that this statement is in fact complete and utter cobblers, the Houston Chronicle still saw fit to print it. They arent twinned with the Daily Mail by any chance?

A blast that could lift a car off the ground at five miles would make a major nuclear detonation look like a firecracker.

I understand the gist of the point you are making but l do not think you can apply it here. There is no evidence providing a confirmed negative. For example you could say "We know Myra Hindley didnt do it because she is in jail 6000miles away".

I doubt there is ANY evidence that proves it WASN'T deliberate (terrorism/espionage etc) when they don't know what caused it. In fact the lack of info points to it being outside normal accident parameters..i.e deliberate.
