Looking for some information about my watch!

Hi guys,

I was given this dress watch as a gift from my dad a few years back and I am trying to find some more info on it. As a gift, it was a tremendous gesture and something that I would love to be able to keep and pass down to my children when I have them.

All I know is it has a Vacheron Constantin marking on the dial with Geneve underneath it, on what looks like a Lapis Lazuli dial. At the bottom of the dial there is 'SWISS' at what would be the six o'clock marking. I was told it is from the 1970s and on a white gold strap. Unfortunately, I don't have the watch to hand and wasn't brave enough to try to pop open the back case when I took the original photo. This was the only picture I managed to take of it and there were no papers.



I would love to get some more information on it or at least be pointed in the right direction!

Several seconds on Google took me to a Vacheron Constantin 2047?

Thanks for the quick responses.

I had seen those two on Google, both are similar but not to the exact specification weirdly. First is square and the second is more oval than round.

There is no actual history on that reference, especially with that specific dial. I have contacted Vacheron, maybe they can shed some light on the model.
