The Dog Shed.

Been toying with the idea of buying a shed to transport the dog to the forest/moors at the weekend but never went through with it until now.
Friday evening after work perusing ebay i came across this and thought i would put in a cheeky offer. The next morning I set off to Princetown on Dartmoor to look it over. Basically solid and tidy, engine and box strong and smooth, the only issues are short MOT and worn droplinks, both of which i was aware of before hand.
After the test drive and the haggling we settled on a price of £700 and off i went happy with my new purchase.
The 75 mile return trip was quiet and comfortable up to a point. I had done 60 miles on the M5 with the cruise control set to 85, wafting along in comfort then it happened.
Just as I was slowing down to exit the motorway, a mere 5 miles from home, what the hell is that?? A loud high pitched whine emitted itself from the rear BALLS i said to myself.
There was no choice now other then drive on which i did. On the 5 miles from the motorway to my house the whine disappeared and the car drove perfectly. Puzzled by this i went back to the motorway got it up to 70+ mph and the whine came back.
I'm thinking diff or maybe wheel bearing but will have to wait to investigate.

Possibly a bargain, this week will tell, clean and tidy? yes although it has a small rust scab on the nsr arch, no dents but plenty o hedgerow scratches. They do seem to be pretty rare, however it's an awful lot of car for the money. Hopefully it won't become a money pit.

Mark 2 is it? Looks way better than the original. Definitely looks more than 700 quid, more like 2-3k. Reminds me of the Ford explorer. Billy bargain that.

Yes it's the mk2. Looks good and is very comfortable, just hoping the upcoming MOT doesn't rape my wallet.

Your eagle eyes are correct. Couldn't really be bothered to investigate the whining issue so just stuck it up on ebay. Was sold within hours for the same money i paid for it.

Now replaced with this. Slightly above shed money(only just) 6 months mot, good service history, clean tidy and drives really well.
