Porsche Macan S. Headlights
Discussion
I am looking at a Porsche Macan S for my next car and am trying to keep the optional extras to a minimum, as the costs of some of the items are fairly eye watering !
The car comes with Halogen Projector headlights as standard, but can be upgraded with either Bi-xenon or LED units at a cost of roughly £1000-£1500 respectively!
Is it worth upgrading the Halogens for general town/country driving?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The LED's are not worth the money in my opinion.
The Bi-Xenons are very good though. It depends how much night driving you do. I find Bi-Xenons help to see much further up the road and you can't really put a price on safety.
I've specced them on my S arriving at the beginning of March.

I've also got an S coming in March and have specced the bi-xenon lights as posted above they are so much better than standard.I've gone for quite a big spec as it is for the other half and she will be keeping it for a while as she does quite low mileage so its nice to have the extra creature comforts.

I never had a LED before. However, last week I had a Macan courtesy car for a few days. It had LED Adaptive. Much better light and made my 991 xenon to look like an old outdated technology.
Does it worth the money? Only you can answer this. As said above it depends on how much night drive you do and in what road conditions.
