996 flat battery

Hi all, my battery has gone flt because the stereo wouldn't switch off. It's a 98 model year, I can't open the bonnet and it doesn't have the jumper on the fuse board. I need to send some power via the cigarette lighter in order to unlock it but I'm not sure what I need, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Green Flag came out the other day and did it in seconds but I only have so many call outs per year and I don't want to waste them.

In future, if you have a charger, it's safe to put a charge via the jump posts in the engine bay as well.....
