Front Number Plate

Spoke to GTGrafix this morning. For the front plate they have to shrink the numbers to 64mm to fit the front recess, (should be 79)....is this still legal or is the Monaro exempt in some way?

character height 64mm
character width 44mm
character stroke 10mm
space between characters 10mm

was a top day out

if you have 7 characters on your registration you need to multiply this by 44mm.

Then add this to the number of spaces between characters which would be 8 spaces x10mm

and I believe the answer is 388mm so you would need to shave off 4mm from each edge of the plate, unless you have a number 1 or letter I which saves room.

Halfords, badged heavy duty and boxed on end of aisle displays normally, or B&Q sell it in larger qty.

No worries Brian.

Don't use too much on the suface area as you will need a knife to seperate should you need to take off and if its cold use a hair dryer on the bodywork first to get good adhesion.
