Maserati 3200 for £10k
Discussion
Well, that's what Autocar reckons they'll be worth in 5 years time
They've done an article on cars you can own now for around £100/week (purchase price around £25-30k -although that doesn't include running costs). There's the usual suspects: 911, DB7, Corvette, Esprit etc. They give a value for the cars in 5 yrs time and whilst most of the other drop down to £15-20k, the 3200 drops like a stone to £10k!!! Admittedly that's based on a '98 model.
Now, I hope that's a typo otherwise I'm going shopping for a 3200 in 2010
What's probably more worrying is that as the value drops the cars will fall outside the dealer servicing network as those that can afford a £10k Masser probably won't be able to afford dealer servicing costs. Avoiding the dogs could be interesting then.
The alternative will be 5.7 litres of Aussie muscle in the shape of a 6 yr old Monaro for £9k
