I'm looking at trying to get hold of a carbon fork for a Croix de Fer frameset which I'm looking to build. Theyre are 1 1/8th fork with no taper which is proving harder to find than I expected. There is a glue of chinese offerings however, my instinct tells me to steer away (no pun intended) from these unless I fancy a face full of tarmac whilst descending a 1 in 4. eBay seems to be full of them.

From all reports I've read, they can be very hit and miss.

What about Planet X? Cheap and for you a UK brand, made in the Far East.
