Just got into the office, set up the coffee machine
{if tank = full and coffee in it; then start up}, logged onto a workstation, and had a look into Gassing Station, while the rising sun is burning my neck.

Looking forward to a nice day, as I'll stop working just after lunch

Morning Bodo, I don't know why but I always assumed you were in New Zeland!??! But as the morning sun is scorching down as we speak, your obviously not! Just off to work myself, weekly planing meeting today, Fianace Director back from his hols, so much work to do to make it look like I'm worth keeping. have a good day.

Unfortunately, I'm in GMT +1 timezone, hence the early-hour post. It's 7.45ish here.

You should work something, what you like; what you're looking forward to.
Otherwise, it would be a pain in the

Anybody else got that depressing End-of-summer-holidays/back-to-school feeling? Every year I get it about now, even though I left school nearly twenty years ago.

Know that feeling well, I was overjoyed to be getting on the train this morning, especially when I was forced to sit next to Jabba the Hut or stand all the way from Hove to London Victoria.

Yeah - the very thing... it gives that vague sickness in the pit of the stomach... god I hated school.

The hours of daylight are just discernably shortening.. it's cold when you get out of the shower because you haven't cranked the central heating up for the autumn yet..

And there's that low light in the morning/evening sky that you just don't seem to get in the summer.

And of course, this week, the motorways will all progressively slow down by 30% as all the breeders return their sprogs to day-prison and go back to work.

Humbug. Oh well, 11 days until Folembray and 25 days until my holiday

And little prospect of any work getting done in the interim

Reading your posts made me think of that joke where this bloke arrives in hell and sees loads of sinners stood around chatting but up to their waists in Sh1t. Bloke thinks this is a doddle untill the devil arrives and says 'OK, break over, on your heads!'

One point, why did The Independant this Sunday contain articles that have already been discussed on PH - have we a mole?
