Called PORSCHE today can you book my Cayenne in to code AV button please "yes sir what is it you want doing" code the AV button for fitting a rear view camera "is it an after market camera" Yes "cannot be done will not work" yes it will I just want you to code the PCM "can not be done I have 25 years workshop experience can not be done" forget it I will get it done at an independent

They wont be seeing me again !!!

Probably covering their arse as they are not supplying or fitting the camera, they may see it as absolving them from any potential issues in the future, they won't want to get involved in a modification that they a) aren't doing and b) as far as they concerned cannot be done.

Imagine if they did as you asked, the camera then fried something, the dealer will then have some accountability.

The dealer (not Porsche just a mainstream volume manufacturer) that I work for would refuse too.

Exactly - just the sort of work an independent would do but you're surprised an OPC won't?
