991.2 GTS

I am looking to put my name down for a 911 GTS over the next few days.

I've been informed by my local OPC there are no build slots available so it will later in the year when manufactured.

A friend has suggested I wait until next year when the 992 becomes available otherwise I'll have an 'old' model very quickly resulting in faster depreciation.

Whilst the following is guess work, past trends may indicate the future so I'd appreciate your thoughts:

Will the 992 be launched in 2018?

How long after the 992 is launched would the GTS become available?

992 should be 2019, with the GTS probably 18 months after launch

Yes dont think would worry about that with a gts. Not a great time to buy a 991.2 S perhaps.

Or you could wait for the 992.2.......... If it is the car you want then buy it, you will lose money on it no matter what.
