For the third year running I am organising a charity race this summer at Rye House. The aim as ever with these things is to beat the amount we raised last year(!)

As such we are looking for a well known driver (current or retired) to help us promote the event (all they need to do is turn up!). So far Mike Conway (reigning Formula Renault Champion and now F3 driver) is confirmed. However an ex F1 or other "big name" would work wonders for raising more money for our chosen charity, CLIC (children with leukaemia and cancer)

If anyone can help it would be massively appreciated. It goes without saying that the "celeb driver" would be given complimentary entry and unlimited food and drink!

The plan is to auction the last 5 teams for charity (worked brilliantly last year), so any big name drivers would be incredibly helpful for this!

Date is 11th of June, location is Rye House. Please e-mail me at Myles.Packman@drkw.com if you can help.

Many Thanks,

I might be able to suggest a few names to you from Touring Cars and one former F1 driver I know might be up for it partly depends on whether is clashes with anything else.

John - if you could I would be eternally indebted to you (and can probably sort you out a complimentary drive). This is a fantastic course and like most charities has lost out due to all the Tsunami appeals going on...
