...next month!

Comments seem universally critical.
How about less diversity, equality and climate managers instead as a way of saving money?

This reduction in service will be reflected in the licence fee I presume?

it's political posturing to try and squeeze more tax out. 'look we cancelled this vital service, that proves we needs billions more to brainwash the British public with, please can we whack the licence fee up, thanks'

I didn't know it existed; if I need travel information in the UK there are plenty of other places I would look first.

Such as?

I do not have a smart phone - no mobile signal where I live.
I've found the BBC travel site to be in advance of e.g. the AA and Google maps. On Friday there was an accident on my usual route, the BBC travel website showed it. The others did not.

Bit of a shame. Alongside Google and Waze, the best travel website for the road. Always reasonably updated with good detail. Don't get the hate for the Beeb. It is the best national broadcaster on the entire planet. Makes a refreshing change for Britain to do something worldclass.
