I've had a particular T-shirt now for about 12-15 years - which I wear whenever it's warm. It looks pretty 1980's and it's been washed so many times you can almost see through it.

My missus keeps telling me to chuck it away and hates it when I wear it, but it's my favourite piece of atire. It's just so loose and comfy.

Can anyone else relate to the above, or am I unique in the universe.

I'm sure he'll be along in a while to confirm or deny this allegation

My nice shoes

My comfy hoody.

My labcoat (its saved me many a time)

I'm quite bad with clothes... I don't have a very big selection but whenever I get a jumper or something I like I wear it non-stop until its worn out and then get annoyed because I am unable to find another like it.

My coat is @ least 45 yrs old and I spend many hours stitching it back together every year (the thread has rotted away[and no - it doesn't smell!]). It was tailored for me dad and is so right for me.

Otherwise it's straight into the wardrobe for another purple T shirt/black jeans and a black pullie (or navy at a pinch)

Creature of hobbit, moi?

Pink wool coat.

Pair of horsey boots. They're like second skin.

Hooded top, it's too big and it's my brothers old school tracksuit top. But if I feel tired, or unwell...On goes the hoodie!

7 for all mankind jeans

2 pair of now very old and faded black 501s ... totally knackered now, crotch utterly worn away (ahem!) and multiple amateur fixes no longer viable to ensure avoiding exposing my boxer shorts ...

i am still seeking a specialist to fix them up, much to the chagrin of my other half who has bought me two new pair that i refuse to wear by dint of their being "new" .... i don't like new clothes at all, especially new boots. she doesn't understand me, doctor.

any levis doctors out there!?!?!

My jimi hendrix Tshirt died after 10 years of regular wear, and Ive not been able to emotionally bond with any clothing since its death. Im most comfortable in black jeans, cowboy boots, and tshirts.

My original KSB300 goretex boots, they've been around the world with me. Oh and my A.J Hackett T-shirt ripped and falling apart but always a talking point.

aah blackadder, where would we be without you? for a start, id have had to think of my own comical original thoughts for the past 20 years instead of just usurping someone elses thunder (a neat trick if you can do it) in the hope that no-one rumbles me (not in the biblical sense anyway), which i cant think would be fun. or hygenic for that matter.

ok, so the tutus been done. what are your thoughts on waders and a cagoole? (written, if for no other reason that it advances my campaign to bring back the word cagoole)

no? how about a yashmak and a gumshield? (no Yash's were hurt during its production)

usurp, i slurp, we all slurp!

i am getting a touchy-feely materials and texture theme here, with exception of the inclusion of a bloodied gumshield.

waders could be good. nigella lawson, striding up the river bank, dripping from the turbulent river and naked apart from her waders; a freshly caught and still writhing salmon in her arms, flapping against her bosom.

ahem.

now THATS a powerful image. you may well have replaced the whale in my nightmares. something that 15 years of therapy and 14 years of electro-convulsive-shock treatment couldnt achieve. so if nothing else, thanks for that.

but let me up the ante. tucked in either of nigellas waders is a minogue. get out of that one, rommel.
