the Geneva Motorshow. Oh well can't be helped, so I'd better buy a 360 whilst her back is turned so to speak [ross mode]we were on a break![ross mode]. Now the quandry is do I get a RHD slightly older, or a newer LHD.

Can you give me the pluses and minus' for each please chaps as I'll probably take the plunge this week before she comes back!

Sorry to hear about the Mrs mate.

Lots of 360 owners on here. BigT and Bebbesen both drive LHD in the UK without problems (except at junctions which involves angling the car).

Rhd v Lhd
F1 v manual

Its all good.

If you have any specific likes/dislikes then you can narrow it down, but thats your personal preference.

Excellent choice though.Cough.

to be honest it has happened before so I'm that bothered. She was a bit young anyway and a bit of a airhead....though when we split up before I bought my RS4 and we got back together. She went throught he roof about not being involved in the decsion. but the Ross rule came out again. I'm off to see a couple of 360's tomorrow, but as it's am everyday car I'll buy the best RHd I can afford.

Gemini whens the next yorkshire play day?

If you like the 360 then buy one...don't buy in haste...If you do, then buy one as good as cheap as poss so if you decide to sell quickly you won't take a massive smack in the chin in costs...

Depends how much money you wanna spend and how quickly...Mail me and send your number and I'll give you a low down on a 360 and what you can do to it...

Sorry to hear about your troubles...well it won't be troubles soon when a nice new motor turns up and trust me, they'll love the smiles on your face

BTW, just watched some vids from VMAX...I'm keeping my 360 for a bit longer

Make the most of your 'break time'.

No productive thoughts from me, just try out a few and buy the one that stands out for you.

Hope you enjoy the search.

Sounds as good a plan as any - especially once you have the new motor

That was very cheeky Al.

Go on then Jon, apply what I said to women and cars.

Just remember that you will always have more fun with a car though...lol

yup, really gutted. drove a couple dogs today though. decided RHD is the way to go. Foskers have one that has caught my eye, has anyone dealt with them before.

Nicola - you've met her so you know she can be a moody cow, the car will definately be more fun!

Any tips on the do's and don'ts and potential pit falls, are there any warranty companies to avoid?

I bought my 355 from Foskers last May. They probably were not the cheapest but I felt confident that they knew what they were doing and that the car was right. They also gave the car a clutch and belts service before I collected it and they sorted out some minor odds and ends.

I would definitely use them again.

Edited to add that they provide their own warranty. had to push a little to get the paperwork but have not had to claim yet!

i can only encourage you to buy the 360..........only had mine for 2 months so may be a honeymoon time..........but i just cant find enough excuses everyday to drive the thing..........it really is the most amazing bit of kit. bought mine from Tom Hartleys in Derbyshire (am Bedford based) and after looking through alot of ferrari dealer cars and test driving. lost sleep considering F1 or 6 speed and went for RHD F1 in thr end. sorry to hear the news on the partner but all i can say is when you are changing from 2nd to 3rd at 8500rpm its the last thing your going to be thinking about try to get a tubi on the car or steal some more money to get one - they are worth their weight in gold (shame they cost they weight in gold !)

Big T - where are the vids from VMAX of the 360 - would like to see

Waiting to get the tape off the Dane (Bebessen) to transfer the footage to PC, I think we'll have a try at the weekend, tried before with loads of other VMAX vids but couldn't seem to do it or ran out of patience more like

The car sounded awesome and from the runway I could be heard going around the rest of the circuit!!!!...lovely jubbly....Might need some help with editing though so if anyone can help there's a nice drink in it for them.
