Has anyone driven a 991.2 here? I just couldn't get on with it. The turbo lag is huge and there's no top end at all obviously as it s a turbo. I just kept hitting the limiter.
It'll suit those who like torque but a diesel delivers very similar thrills.

No way I'd swap my 991.1 GTS for it. And then theres the sound it'll be devoid if too...

The front bumper design is nice though.

Or assuming you want a turbo (and 4wd), pick up a 997.1TT or X50 996TT or Turbo S and a Cayman R for less than what you'd need for an optioned 991.2 4GTS.

I'm still a sceptic about the new turbos, especially in a '911', but guess this is why the GTS badging has been applied - to try and elevate confidence and interest.
GTS is now a mainstream model designation, but probably adds a bit of marketing 'feel good' to the range.

The new 911 Gts seems to have come early only a year after 991.2 introduction normally they are at the end of model life cycle ie 2-2.5 years in!

At £40k more than your CGTS I would imagine it would have to be outstanding for you to consider trading in...

This is where the C2S should have been. Brilliant car.

Satisfy the stick shifters ( of which there will be half a dozen at most) and will worry a 991 Gt3 on track with its massive torque with PDK.

Very few will be ordered with 'stick' , and will affect resale values considerably if ordered with one IMO.

For me, the 991 is too lardy for a stick anyhow, far better in the GT4 though again, the gearing is woeful.
