Tag AR 500M Crown Repair

Hi there,

My Tag Heuer AquarRacer has a stripped thread on the crown for some reason (presumably crap manufacturing). Anyway, I'm now looking to get this repaired and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for an independent, preferably in Central London, as I've heard the official Tag service centre has shocking service.

Genesis are supposedly good but based out in Bristol and I'd rather have someone I can go and have a chat to as I have a couple of other watchy questions to ask (including where to sell my Girard Perregaux ww.tc if anyone is interested ).

Watch Doctors in Tring, Herts. They did a Seamaster for me that had a stripped crown thread. They're great and very well priced. Good Professional premises. You could send it to them if you can't get to Tring.
