pdk parking sensors heated seats 2.0 engine leather seats is this a good bet for residual values in the future.
I have looked at 2nd hand cars 3 years old and values are £35,000 if so would rather buy new at £45,000 to loose £10,000 over 3 years is this realistic.

I suspect your px value will be a lot less than the retail value at 3yrs.

agreed totally the forecourt 2nd hand prices bare no relation to actual residuals set by leas contract hire guaranteed future values

Basically it's impossible to say how the 718 will fair on second hand market, could be much worse than 981, or may be better, take your pick. I bought a 981 last summer and was looking at 4 year old 25k miles, but the extra cost to go 1 yr old and 8k miles was less than 10 k so I went for the newer car, but that is two second hand cars where both have lost their 1st year depreciation. I suspect a £45k new (low spec) 718 may be under £35k after 3 years.
