2017 (a good year to buy a new car?)
Discussion
Ive been reading reports that last year was a cracker for new car sales (incl lease) and that this year could be far worse,so as im looking at two new cars could there be some decent deals around?
0% finance deals would be nice and some generous discounts would help too...
What do you think? or will it be buisness as usual

It wasn't a good year for car sales, it was a good year for people getting into even greater debt and taking out PCP deals on cars they'll never own. All over the country there are people with a brand new Kia Sportage on the drive, eating food from Lidl's budget range.

I visited a few car dealers and without fail they just wanted to know about how much I'd like to pay each month and what deposit I had. None of them, from Mini to VW to Skoda asked how much I wanted to spend on my car, because they no longer sell cars, they sell credit agreements.

2017, although will be less, will still be regarded as a bumper year at c.2.5m units
perspective
Credit Crunch years went down to 1.8m ....
so, it will be no difference
0% and discounts will continue
