So after not having done any cycling for probably 10yrs at least I have decided to get back on it. Shocked at how much bike tech has moved on in that time as well!!

So I have treated myself to a 2017 Trek Marlin 6 (in red) and collect it tomorrow ... have been looking around for a bike for a couple of weeks and wandered into a small local bike shop while I was getting a new set of tyres on the Q7 and they had just built it up and it had upgraded forks with remote lock out fitted and offered my an extra 20% off it so it was only £350, seems to be a bit of a bargain and always good to support local businesses!

Going to pick up a new helmet tomorrow and head out to give myself a bit of a shakedown I think smile

Picked it up but my helmet hadn't arrived into store so I'm stuck until probably tomorrow now ... been desperate to get out on it but not prepared to risk it (other than a spin around my garage storage block) without the helmet
