Best car under £1500 for a 21 year old

Looking for a used car under 1500 thats alot fastervthan my current drive (civic si). whats the cheapest/fastest/insurable ride i should be interested in ?

Insurance is going to be stupid no matter what you do buy.

Bmw E46 330i. Could get a decent one for around that price.

Im 22 and have mine insured for £660 a year with 6 points on my licence.

Yet I'm 27 and drive a 1.8 Audi a3, have a clean licence that I've held for 4 years with 4 years no claims bonus, and I pay 1000 a year.

Its all about postcodes.

Think Slow lives in the Highlands so will be very low risk.
Still seems very cheap though.
