My F80 M3 is coming up to 3 years old in June and will be paid up so time for a change is fast approaching. Not a lot is taking my fancy at the moment other than a Lotus Evora 400. Anyone here done a similar change? Will I bet disappointed? My M3 is DCT and I love the gearbox, will the Evora's auto be a disappointment in comparison? And I like the fact my iPhone, Spotify etc connect straight into the M3's infotainment. Anyone have any experience of Lotus Evora infotainment if it even has one?

Also anything else worth considering? 4 seats is a must and no older than 12 months.

Surely an RS4 would fit the bill, or C63 AMG.

What are second hand porkers trading at?

My F80 is only 10 months old and I probably wont change for at least 12 months (thats a long time for me) but Im struggling to think of one car that can replace it, as it offers so much in one package.

I'm therefore thinking of two cars, a 5k family-mobile and an R8/cayman gt4/911 or similar.

What about that Evora 400 with manual? Or little bit older Aston Martin with V8? They are much more exciting options than those germans.

Have you actually driven an F80... considerably better steer than an AM V8V

If you don't need the size and are interested more in handling that out right power, an M2. It will feel like a cheaper car though, with some nice features just not available.
