What Exhaust For a 2003 C4 Cabriolet
Discussion
Hi
I am new here and I am sure this discussion has been had before but I am a desperate man so at the risk of repeating a past discussion - can you help me.
Geography not really an issue - I have a car
I have tried talking to various experts and am having trouble being heard - I think its the exhaust noise that has stopped their ears working.
My exhaust is showing signs of splitting on the silencers - so a new one is needed but which one? If I get this wrong it could be a very expensive mistake.
Here is what I want:
UK road and MOT legal
Stainless
Extra BHP is nice to have
Decent soundtrack is nice to have too - BUT (I would use 48 point type here if I could) BUT not at the cost of EML lights coming on, drop in back pressure so engine idles badly, profound deafness or the chance of any other issue or annoyance. (If I want issues and annoyance I will buy another F355 - when you arrive home you never know which bits will still be attached or working.)
I have been told that the manifold on these 3.6s are very good and do not really need changing - is that true or opinion?
What is out there that will give me all of the above?
One last thing - and its a biggie - I am half Yorkshireman and half Scot (so I get to say this) I'm a bit tight! So this has to be a budget friendly exhaust if such a thing exists.
Over to you Gurus .............
