Evening All.

I am looking to buy an excellent condition 4 seater convertible that would be used primarily by my wife as her summer commuter and be garaged and laid up for at least half of the year. Annual mileage will be 2k miles.

I am looking for something that will be pretty mint and with at least a one year warranty in case it has any underlying problems as I plan to keep the car indefinitely.

budget 20-30k, must be auto.

i was mainly looking at main dealer 1-2 year old 4 series / E class / A5 with petrol engines but any alternative view points would be very welcome as I appreciate I am not thinking outside of the box here.

performance is not a massive factor, the 180-200bhp 4 pots would be adequate though more power wouldn't be an issue.

cheers

What a depressing car to spend £25-30k on!

996 / 997 / Jag XK or R / 6 series

Use your imagination man!!

Stick your budget and convertible into PH and AT see what comes up.

I despair when people actually look to buy these white goods soulless cars!

ETA E9 M3 is in budget ... smile

Maybe not the Porsche then no ...

I'd suggest the 6 Seriesnwould be and the new shape too.

M3 would be OK, Jaguar XK, I do not know.

Good luck, some nice cars in that price bracket.
