Hi all,
Way back in 2010 (before my ownership), my 911 was serviced at Porsche Service Centre in Essex (full address below). I've Googled around but can't find any mention of them. I assume it has either been dissolved or has rebranded in the six years since...can anyone shed any light?
Porsche Service Centre, Unit 2, Morelands Industrial Estate, Rettendon, Chelmsford, Essex, CM3 8HB.
This address now appears to house a different business, so if the company is still around, they've definitely moved!
Thanks,
Mike
Companies House has no mention of a company of that name at that address . A quick look on Google shows that it looks like its an Industrial Unit on what was probably Farm Land at one stage...you can see loads of cars parked there. Not an obvious place to have a business servicing expensive sports cars.Way back in 2010 (before my ownership), my 911 was serviced at Porsche Service Centre in Essex (full address below). This actually used to be Chelmsford Carriage Company, which somehow managed to claim that they were an approved Porsche Specialist when nothing could be further from the truth - hence they are no more.
If you're on the hunt for Porsche Servicing in Essex, I can't recommend Autostrasse in Coggeshall highly enough - top bunch of chaps and outstanding VFM.

Ah yes, those guys. Talk to Lancaster too. Now that Gary Sorrell has trimmed a few dead heads, I think they've improved. Worth comparing prices too - on Ferrari they are cheaper than an indie local to them.If you're on the hunt for Porsche Servicing in Essex, I can't recommend Autostrasse in Coggeshall highly enough - top bunch of chaps and outstanding VFM.

Where are you based Mike? I'm Chelmsford based and take mine now for servicing to Dave at DSD Motorwerks who have a workshop between Billericay and Shenfield on the A129. Dave really knows his stuff, been working on P cars since he was 11! I used to take mine to Autostrasse but about three years ago the main men, Ken and Alan "retired".
It's still going, under new ownership, so I understand.
As far as I know there's never been a proper Porsche service outfit in Chelmsford, certainly not whilst I've been driving one.
