hi all
do you think there is something wrong with my traction control?
Last night (the road was wet)while in normal driving mode I pushed just a little bit extra on the peddle and the back wheels started spinning
Is this normal?

Yes, TC should have kicked in and stopped the wheels spinning. Did you have your car in wet/snow mode?

I don't think TC eliminates every last trace of wheelspin.

Just picked mine up and it is certainly tail happy and so selected snow/wet mode and that was much more predictable. I'm considering a set of winter tyres which will certainly help

Mustangs have always had a very loose interpretation of traction control - it still allows you to have fun before you kill yourself.

Is that as in 'without killing yourself' or as in '15 seconds before killing yourself'?

I'll soon be finding out- mine due by end January. So I hope you meant the first!smile

Thanks for the tip.
I have had plenty of time whilst waiting for it to read various blogs and I had picked up on the view that the Pirellis they come with are best used as fenders on a tugboat. So I'll probably be changing them early!

Mine is on the original tires and has stepped out a few times when the roads are greasy. I've garaged her for the winter now.
