Has anyone had any issues booking through Airbnb from Dubai?

I am trying to book a property in London with no luck. Their site isn't accepting my card details, I've tried a few cards.

never had an issue with it myself.

i did have an issue where my card would be declined in restaurants. has happened a few times. last time the guy said its because i'm with an islamic bank. do they honestly not honour transactions in places which serve booze. how do they know?

I bank with ADIB. MMI and A&E won't accept my card.

I'm with Adib. Card works just fine in barracuda and Abu Dhabi spinneys booze shops!
