It was -6 on my commute - for the first 10 minutes at the office my chillblained fingers were screaming at me!
And whilst I was desperate to take a pic of the stunning frosty sunrise, the thought of (a) stopping to get my phone from my rucksack, and (b) taking my gloves off to take the photo, made me chicken out.

Was -6 according to peoples garmins in Richmond Park, I don't buy that, mind you.
I seem to be able to get away with fairly normal gear in the cold. The upside of more watts
Richmond? That's in toasty central London I seem to be able to get away with fairly normal gear in the cold. The upside of more watts

. I was pedalling along the North Downs Way:http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/observa...
More "watts", you say? My ride takes me past the Watts Gallery on the way into Guildford. But my actual watts are nothing more than wishful.

Ha, agree - but the middle of the park is usually 3 deg colder than outside.
