Thinking of switching our contents insurace to pedalcover, does anyone have any experience of them? Reason for move is better cover for all our bikes. Cost is similar enough to our current insurer not to be concerned.

I've recently bought my first house, and I've gone with Pedalcover. Really helpful explaining stuff. And the cover is brilliant. Worked out cheaper than separate policies for me . Obviously I can't comment on the claims side of things. Oh and you can haggle with them!

Not had to make a claim, but very helpful on the phone and well priced!

Again, I've not had to make a claim, but Darren and his team provided the best customer service I've ever experienced in getting my quote set up and processed.

Really friendly and chatty, happy to spend all the time it took going through the details and making changes to get to exactly the policy I wanted.

Hopefully I'll never have to make a claim, but if I do, I'm confident that they'll be equally professional handling that.

I'd echo the above. Very good to deal with and competitive but I've not had to make a claim, thankfully!

I've just had my renewal through from them at the weekend and it's actually gone down from last years price by about £30 or so. Can't really complain at that smile

Cheers all, think I'll probably switch. Time to read and compare all the t's & c's.

I've just switched our house & contents insurance from John Lewis to Pedalcover. We didn't have the bikes fully covered on the JL policy, either for value or theft away from home.

We've got unlimited buildings & contents cover. I'd have saved £150 anyway in switching, and in the end it's worked out at £250 because I've taken off accidental contents damage, since Pedalcover's standard policy already includes some decent accidental damage cover. Plus the bikes are now fully covered.

Can also confirm that their customer service is excellent, much better than the usual faceless call centres...

Another vote for them from me too - excellent price and coverage and the customer service was genuinely so good that it took me by surprise.

As above, luckily I haven't had to make a claim yet, but I'd thoroughly recommend them (and have been doing so to all of my friends!)
