Brilliant old school Engineer, affectionately known as ‘Nocken-Paule’ passed away on 15th Nov, aged 82.
The legendary engine man that effectively put BMW Motorsport on the map in the late 60's with the turbo engine that won the European Touring car championship, that led to the 2002 Turbo, and the onto BMW's F1 involvement with the awesome 4 cyl F1 turbo engine, and later BMW's engines for the E30 M3 etc.,etc.
