Bit of help please - clearing some warranty stuff up - as I'm looking to buy one at the moment. (Private sale)

Dose the extra 4th year warranty on 991 GT3 apply only to the engine (or cover all typical extended warranty items) ?

If the car was sold by a OPC last year, would their usal 2 year used car warranty (is this correct) more than cover any one the known issues/items ?

Thanks

The Porsche extended warranty covers everything, bar wear and tear items and consumables. It also doesn't cover hoses and a few other things like acoustic defects (rattles, squeaks).

But everything else is covered, from front to back of car. It is probably the best manufacturer backed extended warranty scheme in the market, and certainly is the best for any performance car. You can also extend it to 15 years after production date which is unheard of for a performance car. My '07 GT3 is still under warranty and will be till it's 15.

I should have been clearer in my question

Those cars that had an engine change came with "an extra years warranty"
does this warranty only apply to the engine or the full end to end car (as with the normal extended warranty.

It's a full warranty.

What are your exact requirements?

Ideally a CS car, with lift, some warranty and sensible miles, at list or thereabouts.
(Not too much track action)

So you want a CS car for the roll cage / harnesses, rather than the buckets (which you can get in a non-CS car)?
