just send it direct to st James London, Rolex's main service place.

I think it's about £460 these days plus any extra part you might want to change.

I have a Submariner away at Rolex being serviced at the moment. £505 inc VAT for a full service.

Stick with Rolex. You'll get a 2 year warranty after service so it's a no brainer.

It won't be 2 years by the time it's been returned to Rolex at least once so they can get it right.

You’ll get a 2-year warranty from any accredited Rolex service agent too.

http://www.swiss-serv.co.uk – spoke with Terry, and he does use genuine parts (handy when your brother is Rolex accredited!), apart from the crystal.

Whomever you choose, I'd resist the temptation to get them to polish the case. The case edges are never the same after a polish.

Is it a Vintage one?

If newer then its not as important , Rolex usually change out any parts that are worn or older.

Oakleigh watches do a great service of Rolex. Theyve just brought back to life a Rolex that was lost at sea for 14 months. Ask for Giles at Oakleigh.

Dom at Hackett watches will be able to steer you in the right direction. I am sure the guy on PH called variomatic will be able to help.

Sorry no idea of prices , 450 upwards?
