Alarming

Last night I was in bed when I could hear a car alarm. I looked out my bedroom window to see orange lights flashing through the window of my rear garage door. To my amazement my key worked from my room to turn the alarm off and reactivate it.

This morning I looked about and there was no reason for the alarm to go off. Nothing too surprising so far.

Anyway got to work alarmed the car and it beeps three times. It has never done this before. Why?

The S1 alarm tends to sound one continuous beep immediately after you set the alarm if one of the doors is open, the boot or front compartment. I found this can sometimes be caused if the boot sensor gets wet or moves out of its housing - defo worth checking.

Why did you wait until the morning to investigate? There could have been some scrote knicking your wheels.

No, that is why I reset the alarm and in was in my locked garage and I was in bed
