Most annoying habits of office colleagues
Discussion
1) People who use their speaker phones to initiate a call. Thanks - I really want to hear a dialling tone, dial tones and a phone ringing all day long.
And worse, people who take calls on speaker phones.
2) People who laugh really loudly and uproariously. I mean, really loud extrovert borderline-insane laughing. You may think you’re the life and soul of the 'party' but you actually sound like a tw@t. Oh, and it’s a workplace, not a party.
3) People to walk past colleagues and say "Hey! Looking good today. Catch ya later" complete with finger-pistol shooting motion. W
s.
4) People who are unable to hold a conversation with someone sat right next to them without shouting.
5) People who leave their mobile phones on their desk unattended. Especially if they have a really loud wanky ring tone and the phone is set up to ring for 10 minutes before going to voice mail. Doubly so if the caller rings back repeatedly or if the owner has that crappy Vodafone voicemail call-back service.
6) People who hold corridor-meetings or mobile phone conversations right next to my cubicle. GO AWAY!
And breathe.

i had to endure this really annoying sloaney character
who was just plain annoying - no one particularly bad habit. to sum it up everyone referred to him as 'thrush' [work it out].
when he wasn't arranging champagne parties with his chums, all with names like Tristan and Nigella, i'd endure his tedious exchanges with his Estate Agent / Recruitment consultant chums as loudly as possible (often using the speaker phone).
he got very stroppy when he didn't get his own way, and you can be assured of being 'grassed up' to the boss if you did anything he didn't consider to be in his interest.
a total ring-piece.

People who receive a call on their mobile, and rather than disturb their colleagues, go and stand next to your desk to take the call.
People who send emails to you from the desk next to you, so they can CC management.
But worst of all, the annoying custard who gave me the brown envelope.

The ones that wander about aimlessly then turn around without thinking so that their tails brush against the calor gas heater so that you have to vent the whole office because of a smell of burnt fur thus letting in a load of freezing air.
Sorry, should probably have mention that I work in a shed in my garden and the only other occupant is normally my dog.

I know the feeling.
10 pints of Guinness and a vindaloo the night before and you've had to run in there because the turtles head's unexpectedly hit cloth.
Having just debagged in the nick of time you now have to try and keep the cap on a supervolcano until they've gone. You're forced to sit there fully clenched, trembling and sweating like a paedophile at school sports day because you don't want everyone in the office pointing and looking disgustedly at you when you come out
Some people are really inconsiderate!

To you sir I recommend the value of a 'courtesy flush'. Not only dose it mask the sound of the eruption but also, with certain toilet designs, can provide a short burst of liquid cooling.

I can agree with the mobile one. Why oh why does she leave it on her desk all day. THought the idea of having a mobile is so that it can be with you! Taken to hiding it in drawers when it goes off now!!
Don't forget to change the language to Finnish before you hide it though.
Nominate people who :ahem: continually let fly with noxious and extremely smelly farts and then think its funny. I mean farts ARE funny but time and place.
