Intrusive Ad

A new one on me today. Clicked on a link to read a story and after a few seconds a full page ad overlaying the content I was trying to reach takes over asking me to complete some survey (iirc no company mentioned). Top bars, side bars, fair enough, they can be ignored, but something that takes me away from content and makes me click on a box to close it, c'mon.

And before anyone jumps in about ad-blockers, I have no control of that on my work PC.

Sorry about this but thank you for letting us know. Which advert is it please? Is there any chance you could post a screen shot?

Also which operating system and browser are you using please?
