Hi all,

Have a '92 F150 at work that I need to find a torque converter for.

It had a replacement transmission fitted by a 'specialist' but they didn't put enough gearbag oil in it frown

Any recommendations for a supplier ? I tried ringing a couple of UK parts suppliers (google) earlier but they couldn't assist.

Thanks smile

1992 Ford F150's had a choice of 3 engines, and two different automatic transmissions. That also means 2 different torque converters. So more information is needed.

Apologies for the slow response.

As far as I can tell it is a 302ci 5.0 V8 with an 'AOD' transmission (code 'T' on the doorplate).

I have found somewhere that will rebuild it for £220+ which seems reasonable and a guarantee of it fitting back on but other options are always good.

Will try RV @smile

Should be easy enough to rebuild.
