Audi A1 SatNav Issues

I purchased an Audi A1 a few weeks back, it has the satnav installed and the SD card which is apparently paired to the car came with it. The issue is when I put the SD card into the reader as instructed, it comes up on the system as an SD card being inserted but it says it has no files on it. I've checked the card on my card reader and it appears to have various files for maps across Europe so its definitely not empty. I keep getting the message "Please insert valid navigation medium" and a separate message reads there are no files on the card. Any ideas as to what the issue could be? It does say number of satellites received - usually around 10/11, but nothing apart from this.

Its back to the Supplying dealer ( assuming the A1 is a new car ) If its out of warranty it could result in all sorts of problems because as you say the SD card is paired to the sat nav .
