Anyone in Duxford area with Broadband?

We have just moved to Duxford (can see the airfield from my bedroom window wake up to the sound of Spitfires!) but we cant seem to get broadband BT checker thing says we might be able to , just wondered if anyone lived nearby and had BB and if so who with?

I think you need to be within x miles of the exchange - the Computing forum might be able to quantify this.

Although I don't live in Duxford I do know that there is a bit of a general problem with bb coverage in South Cambs generally. NTL have covered a lot of villages and BT are in the process of applying for more transmitters.

I've just checked with some colleagues and they don't recall any applications for BB masts in Duxford but there is a known coverage shortfall in other villages in that area apparently.

we are in the procces of getting BB through fredom to surf at the moment, so far it has failed 1 and 2Mb they are now trying 512Mb.

it's ok I didnt want a fast connection anyway....

Apologies, I've re-read my first post and it's not entirely clear. BB transmitters are needed by BT, not NTL, whose coverage is provided below ground level. It may well be that NTL cover Duxford and BT don't.
