Yeah, bought it last night whilst out for the weekly scoff trip. Very sad, bit biased putting a bloody great pic of it with smoke billowing out of the bonnet. They mentioned that one of the cars (Mondy ST200 ?) had cronic brake fade after a few laps, but there was no pic of the driver bricking it going into a bend. Ah, same old same old. Knock the Brit engineering.

It spoiled a pretty good article, IMHO. Shame the (31K) Boxster lost out to the (164K) Lambo MurkyWater or whatever it's called. I saw the winner's page and thought bugger, should've bought one of them instead of the Porker. Oh well, you lives and learns.

what bo11ocks, it blew up, the showed a small picture but did not make a song and dance about it.

being fair no nearly new car should go bang after a couple of laps. they also criticised the handling of the new 996, but rest assured if that had blown up it would have been pictured.

Bennno,

Yeah, agree - dont know the full details as TVR keep changing the demo car, but this is the "TVR100" one that has done plenty of demo runs. Ok, still doesnt justify going bang, but it must have had a pretty hard life and it happens to the best of them - Porsche being one in the past. Not really fair to pick that out.....

Must admit that the Zonda not getting a run is a little daft too. Everyone knows the noise limit at Goodwood - so why try and get the Zonda through, especially when you know it will fail.... a bit dim really.

Cheers,

Paul
