Wheel refurb recommendation in Southampton

Tim, having just seen your post about your heart op I'm glad that you already have shiny wheels as a priority! That must be a good sign.

Some years ago I used The Wheel Specialist in Fareham to repair a Ferrari wheel and they did a good, but very expensive job. I now use Everyway Bodyshop, just off the M271 in Southampton for all my paint and wheel work (they are currently refurbing 12 wheels for me!) In my defence, I'm not the world's worst wheel kerber - they are from my BMW M3 rally car. A few weeks ago a friend bashed an alloy on another of my BMWs a couple of days before it was due to be sold and again the guys at Everyway came to my rescue - even though the wheel was the tricky to match shadow chrome.

A lot of people rave about The Wheel Specialist in Fareham, although my experience with them was far from great. Maybe I was just unlucky?? Wheels were returned with a lot of orange peel, and would only pass as a satisfactory finish at best. They took the wheels away and re-done them a second time, better but odd bumps where the paint had dried and still some orange peel. Not the top level of quality I'd expect from a company with so many worshipers.
