Had it a couple of times in the spring and thought it was having a funny couple of minutes but has done it again this morning.
Sometimes when pulling away etc the car doesn't want to change up from 1st until very high revs, it will change up straight away when in command shift though.
In normal operation the gearbox is smooth and changes how it should, this morning it did it a couple of times and I changed up using comand shift after a while the dash lit up like a Christmas tree with HDC fault, transmission fault and suspension inactive, I stopped, turned it off and HDC fault and air suspension went away the transmission fault stayed bit went away again. It seems to only do this in cold weather too, does anyone have any ideas what it could be?.

Just a thought but it being a Range Rover, the fact it came up with various different faults then cleared and that I had the heater and heated seat on this morning, duff battery?.

How old is the battery?
Date will be stamped on Neg terminal, 5/6 years or more and I would change it.

Mine would throw up loads of error messages when the old battery was on the way out, would clear after a while when it had some charge in it but a new battery solved it.

I thought that was related to suspension issues and not gearbox issues.
