i was wondering if the number 8 and 9 saleen's will be out and especially the QM engineering/desperado racing viper- is it repaired, i hope so, the Tuscan-R WILL be out there on sat/sun, lets hope they can all make it (although i doubt it)

The #7 and #8 Saleens will be there - #8 will be the repaired Castle Combe chassis, the two Oulton cars' chassis are on the way back to the US for repair.

The Tuscan R should be fine but the Viper is doubtful - either way Andy Wallace won't be driving, he's in a Grand-Am race in the US this weekend.

its a shame the viper might not be there, as they have done lots of testing there, and im sure the viper would suit a curcuit like snetterton, but thanks for the update

Good news for you Viperman - The QM Viper should be at Snet - possibly with just Randolph Watkins driving.

Graham! youve made my day (quite boring day) how did you find it out, great news, as the viper should be a strong car round snetterton, i wish the team the very best of luck, when i was at oulton and the saleens crashed i knew that viper would be involved, i just knew it, its such a shame it was so damaged, but it looked like it hadnt hit the prop shaft. if it had that would have meant trouble, lets just hope they finifh, and do there best on sunday/saturday

Stop Press is that it might not be the blue Viper - It could be a Chamberlain car - Randolph tested in one at Thruxton on Tuesday.

Shorty is applying the stickers to his car today so all should be well for the weekend there.

Confirmed now as the Blue Viper

The other big news is the new driving squad for the Eclipse Tuscan R - The car is now rented to Richard Stanton and Steve Hyde for the rest of the season - Good for them but bad luck (yet more of it!) for Ben and Shane - It marks the end of the season (for now at least) for the bright orange dsc livery too!!

The Morgan is unlikely to be raced again this year, the Porsche is back with Graham Nash and the Stanton/Hyde combo will finish the season in #69 - now #99!!

It's simply business, don't worry though Ben and Shane will be back I'm sure!

I agree viperman, the DeWalt/Barclays porker looked class!! I reckon the Black and Yellow "Bumble Bee" paint job would look sweet on almost any Race Car. It does seem a little bit pointless to Re-paint the cars that often tho!! Did the DeWalt porsche used to be the red 57 porsche that Graham Nash ran at Combe (the only time I saw it in the 'Flesh')? coz that seems to have disapeered now!

dunno if it is the same car as the one you are thinking of which was actually the 47 car run for Maries and Newton. the 57 car is the current GTO leader Tim Sugden

The De Walt Car was indeed the same car as ran earlier as #47. It's an ex Skea Racing car which ran in the ALMS
