Dinner invite... what do you take..?
Discussion
One for the etiquette experts methinks...
Normally if I get invited for dinner, I'll take a bottle... (*) however, what do you take when the hosts are teetotal and on a diet (hence chocolate is out!).
Thoughts..?
(*) - on a minor tangent how much would you spend ona bottle..? If they're good mates do you go cheap or expensive... and what about new friends..?!?

Hmm, let me think.... no alcohol.....no chocs... ah, how about an after dinner spli... oh no, bet they don't do that either.
Errr, think it has to be the flowers. Or if they like coffee how about getting a really nice one fresh ground, sort of thing you should check on though beforehand.
