Thanks to all those that gave me advise regarding my recent potential Porsche purchase (996 C2/4 or 993tt). I have ended up by a 6 mth old M3 Conv SMG with all the trimmings. In the end, I have made the sensible choice as the M3 will be my daily drive and have traded in my 330ci against it. The porchse purchase was to replace my now sold Cerb and was to be a 2nd car but the M3 was so impressive that along with the financial benefits was a no brainer in the end.

However, when the economy has picked up I will get a 2nd car again and it will be a Porsche!
