Hello all,

My name is Chris Roberts, and I'm a journalist writing a feature for the Australian newspaper about the success of Holden, and the fantastic Monaro in particular, in the UK. To this end I'm hoping to do a quick interview with a recent Monaro owner (either Vauxhall or Holden badged), ideally in person but over the phone if that is easier (I am based in London). If you have pictures of your car that would also be very helpful. I want to know what attracted you to the car, and if you feel that its Australian heritage is a large part of the appeal. Hope some of you can help!

Thanks very much,

Chris Roberts

Could possibly get a group of cars together for a photo. Be good to do it somewhere with Big Ben in the background, or something that is British, or maybe even a Walkabout. We have a meet in Easter at Southampton, maybe some of us could meet before hand.

I know that I could bring my car up, it is a Holden Commodore with an SS kit on it, but not exactly probably what you are after as it isn't a Monaro, but the offer is there. Definitely get alot of interest in it that is for sure. Worst one so far, I was doing 30 mile an hour and a guy in the car next to me, hanging out his window, knocking on my window. Scared the hell out of me. Obviously he had never heard of a horn.

My number is 07950176689. Also sounds like a good opportunity to have a get together, if you wanted to organise something, I'm sure that you would get quite a few takers.

Ah yeah, if you want some idiots to dress up in a Kangaroo and Koala suit, can arrange that too. I just happen to know a few idiots... (me and an irishman).
