Auto-Itallia Day on 30th April - Anyone going?
Discussion
Just wondered if any of you were thinking of attending this? The late summer one last year was an excellent day out and this looks no exception. Plus if theres a group us from the the F/M/L boards attending a good chance to put names to faces etc. (And maybe even get a photo of more than 3 Maseratis in one place !)

Brooklands to host a feast of Italian exotica
This year's annual Spring Italian Car Day will feature Lamborghini Miura and ISO-Bizzarrini supercars.
On this, the tenth anniversary of the event being held at Brooklands, the iconic Miura, regarded by many as the most beautiful car of all time, will be celebrating its 40th birthday in 2005. Many of the UK’s cars are expected to be at Brooklands, including a version of the sensational Jota. The ISO-Bizzarrini Club has been invited to present a selection of models including the Grifo A3C Le Mans car, Grifo Can-Am, Lele, Rivolta and Fidia. Bizzarrini will be in attendance with several of the brutal Strada 5300GTs.
To be held once again at Brooklands on Saturday 30 April 2005, this annual feast of Italian machinery is well known for its displays of rare and interesting Italian cars and motorcycles. There will be plenty of action to see (and hear) on the infamous Test Hill where specially selected cars will delight the spectators throughout the day.
Entrance is £9 per person (£8 OAP, £5 children) payable on the day at the main Brooklands Road entrance.

Although I have nothing against Tubi, I just wanted something different. I got talking to Nick Price on an FOC trip and he said that he used Don Pendleton [business just called Stainless Exhausts in Notts] for his hill climb mondial.
I rang Don and he seems a genuine guy and the system was a fair amount cheaper than a Tubi although I have probably disqualified myself from most track days as it is supposed to be 105dbs at 5,000 rpm.
I haven't really driven it much since it was fitted but it does sound good and I am looking forward to finding some tunnels.

I had my exhaust fitted when I had the car serviced, it seems as they can send the exhaust wherever you want. If they fit it themselves it costs around £200 [as they have to take the 355 apart to fit it]. Not sure about Maserati's but I get the impression they can make anything.

Thanks Rich for the advice.
Ive decided to get the back boxes made up instead after your advice.
Does anyone know of a Maserati owner who had boxes made by www.stainless-exhausts.com ?
If so what was the difference in original and custom ?

Is it ok if I bring my rusty, noisy and generally ill behaved alfa sprint?
Actual question is - what happens at these days? are there people selling bits?
Difficult to put politely, but I dont want to turn up and have ferrari owners looking at me like im scum just because my car isnt worth as much as theirs. How does it work out? perhaps there is a sub £1500 value section
