3 car garage- help....
Discussion
Over the next year I would like a 3 car garage, looking for FUN used cars with good residuals. I currently drive an Audi RS4 b7 but the kids are complaining of space in the rear.
One convertible sports car
One family car- able to fit 5 without feeling like a tank.
One city car- small 5 door but can fit 4
Thinking Porsche Macan SD, Golf GTI and Porsche 987 Spyder.
Suggestions?
Thanks
James

My current 4 car garage:
Sunday morning/trackdays/evo triangle/popping to local shops - RenaultSport Clio 182 Trophy - no better hot hatch ever built?
Later on Sunday morning/Euro touring/B roads - Porsche Cayman GT4 ....
Commute/weekends away - BMW 330D MSport Convertible - economical, performance and luxury, open-top
School run/big shopping/big family outings/trips to the tip - Porsche Cayenne 3.0D - easily fits 5 but without feeling utilitarian at all
If I had to do it again now then I'd compress to 3 as follows:
Ford Fiesta ST200 (unless the Clio RS16 is made!)
Boxster 981 Spyder
Macan GTS

I have a 3 car garage-
Audi RS6 C5 for Missus Carlson and family trips.
997 Turbo S for me- daily driver if I'm not on a bike.
Subaru Impreza Turbo - Prodrive WR spec (W reg) - I can't bear to sell it- the only car I've ever bought brand new

DISCO 3 HSE - Seats 7 (grandparents, friends etc), tip runner, bike hauler, holiday wagon.
430d M Sport conv - commute, fast, fun daily
986S - project, garage tinkering and fun runs
Polo - station car, family runabout (feels almost free to run vs the first 2!)
Will chop the first 2 in when (if they ever get around to it!) LR launch the replacement to the 4.

MX5 - too much choice here.
Legacy 3.0R Spec.B
Audi A2 1.4d - I assume you know what an A2 is?

Yes budget would make it easier. Planning on building this over a couple of years. Family car is first. Looking at up to £150k in total.
Was going to test drive an AMG E63 saloon as them seem to depreciate rapidly in the first 18 months.

This leaves you 140k for the convertible. Something Italian would get my vote. Maybe an Aston. Enjoy.
