Courtesy of a late-night, drunken eBay session, I seem to have inadvertently purchased a land-yacht.

Always was a bucket list item/itch that needed scratching. And now I can add it to the list of drunken purchases such as a drum kit (no, I can't play), Korg synthesizer (ditto), massive great moose-head and a Spirograph.

Mrs. Tuono will be amused when she gets home from work tonight.

You should go and collect it tonight, at least it would be nice and comfy to sleep in when the st hits the fan hehe

Looks good though, this era of Amercian car have a certain elegance that won't ever be replicated.

Judging by the pic location it may be too late for that!
You certainly have eclectic tastes Ade!

Yep, still here. Just consigned to the garage, along with Martin the Moose.

Ah, from the era when the steering wheel was more a direction estimator with less feel than a Middle Eastern thief.
Mate of mine had a big white one...it had its own weather system and qualified for EU funding as a small continent.

Not bad for a spur of the moment purchase laugh and I guess you could always fit the Moose head, drum kit etc in it and put the whole lot up for sale as a job lot if Mrs Tuono got too upset.....

We don't have the suppliers over here, that you've got over there.

Will you be my friend? idea
