Sod kit cars - I wanna helicopter!!!

You've got to hand it to Mark Evans, he's got it sorted.. much better than sticking your arm up a cow's arse.. or a computer's arse for that matter...

Top man!

(For anyone who hasn't the faintest idea what the hell I'm on about, see here)

Good prog, but thought the E-Type one was good also. Not as good as Pet Rescue which he used to front, as I do love cats ...

It sounds like a good idea but the cost of a PPL(H) licence is high! Fuel is absurd and maintenance has to be perfect. This is what you want. www.moller.com (You have to be super rich though!)

Definitely available - seen them advertised after the programmes. Haven't got any details but you could start with www.discoverychannel.com

Respect is due!

Anyone who can manage to get his own cobra, plane and helicopter and get a TV company to finance them all, including flight training is a seriously top man!!

Last one to manage that was Noel Edmunds wasn't it

Evans didn't get to keep the copter. I did a lookup on the reg and it's down to the owner of i2i, the production company. I understand it's up for sale. Not sure if he got to keep any of the toys. OK if you run the production company. Build keeping the cars for yourself into the budget and hey presto, Discovery channel buys you a Cobra replica with a massive Yank V8, a restored Mk1.5 E-Type 3.8 (or was it a 4.2) drophead a Europa aircraft and a helicopter, oh and a racing westfield now...!

He also didn't get to keep the other stuff - the Cobra was given away in an FHM competition, and the E-Type was sold in the classifieds. For a lot less than the project cost.

His latest project is 'A Racing Car is Born' where he's built a Westfield. He was filming at the BARC meeting over at Croix in July.
